• Access to a precast supplier or casting yard within a reasonable transport distance
• Site access for delivery trucks and crane/lifting equipment
• Whether your design uses repeated elements that benefit from factory production
• Coordination between the precast supplier and your structural engineer

For a one-off small residential project without nearby supplier access, conventional construction is often more practical. For repetitive commercial or institutional buildings, precast is worth a proper look.
